Root Designs Four v2 24" DJ Frame
Root Designs Four v2 24" DJ Frame
The Root Designs Four v2 keeps the proven geometry of the original v1 frame, with subtle updates where it counts. If it wasn’t broken, it wasn’t changed.
Cosmetic updates include new colour options, updated graphics, and premium metal headtube badges. Functional improvements include revised chain tensioners, now positioned more horizontally to allow better adjustment with the axle further back in the dropouts, plus a third cable guide under the top tube to eliminate cable “pinging”.
Built as a true 24” dirt jump frame, the Four v2 is not a scaled-down 26”. Influenced by BMX frame design, it avoids unnecessary crimped and kinked tubing, resulting in a stronger, stiffer rear end that’s ideal for trail and jump riding.
Updates to the v2 include shorter dropouts, cleaner disc mounts, slightly shorter chainstays, and a lower standover height, while the front-end geometry remains unchanged.
The frame features a mid BB, supports a 27.2mm seatpost, and offers clearance for up to a 33t sprocket and 2.3” tyres. A 100mm suspension fork is recommended.
